Third apartment in Spain

I moved into a new apartment Saturday, which brings the total of my apartments up to three. Despite some issues connecting to the Internet, the apartment is bigger, cheaper, and contains two cool roommates (the other Americans). While I like living alone, having company is nice as well. It’s good to have someone to talk to in person. Skype is great, but it doesn’t supplement actual human interaction.

My goal of learning how to cook will be met with the help of my new roommates (who both have cooking skills). My new landlord is very sweet. She often brings the girls soups and other delicious foods. She has good style and the apartment reflects that. There is a very real difference between a female and a male landlord. When all the apartments come furnished here, it does make a difference in the quality and type of decorations.

I have wasted most of this weekend trying to get my computer to connect to the internet. Since living above the ciber (and connecting manually to internet there), I have not been able to get my computer to connect to the internet automatically. It has been very frustrating. After five pages of Mac suggestions, we still have not been able to figure out the connections. Any suggestions? Send them my way. Although, while the lack of internet has kept me from posting this until I could borrow my new roommate’s computer, it has ensured I would concentrate on writing this post.

Still no heat, although now I’m not suffering alone. Now, I can have company under the brasero. Can anyone say Brasero Fiesta?
